We took advantage of a nice January afternoon to conduct our monthly fire drill. Due to the construction this year, our fire exits are limited to the south door and the recess door. Today we practiced as if the south door was blocked and everyone exited via the recess door. That did slow down our exit time, but it was a good reminder that unexpected things might happen during an emergency.
