Volleyball Pink Out Cancer Fundraiser
Volleyball Pink Out Cancer Fundraiser

Cancer touches all of our lives, and the volleyball team wants to do their part to help with the battle.  Each year on the night of their Pink Out game,  the team raffles off baskets donated by each class on the team, freshmen to senior, as well as baskets donated by the coaches and businesses in the community.  With the proceeds from the raffle every year the team chooses someone  to give a donation to who is currently battling breast cancer.  If there is no one currently battling breast cancer, they choose someone who is battling a different type of cancer.

In the past, the team has made donations to Lindsey Bennetts and to Claire VanLaningham's grandmother.  This year, the team has chosen to support someone they all know well - Deb Farley.

The basket raffle will take place on Tuesday, October 20th, during the Pink Out match between Wilcox-Hildreth and Silver Lake.  All Pink Out Baskets will have a minimum value of $30.00.  Raffle tickets will be $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00.  Each basket will be assigned a number and will have a corresponding jar in which to place raffle tickets so purchasers will be able to determine which baskets they want to try to win.

THANK YOU to the Basket Donors for this Raffle
