Congratulations to our newest National Honor Society members! Tonight, we inducted six new members: Brooke Casper, Dinah Culp, Cheyenne Lieb, Brody Patterson, Aubree Overholser, and Parker Woollen. Our current members did a fantastic job leading our ceremony.


Update about our basketball games tomorrow night in Kenesaw:
There will be no girls JV.
Boys JV will play 4 quarters beginning at 4:30, with girls and boys varsity to follow.

Parents and Patrons,
School calendar update: There will not be school on Friday, Feb 14th because WHPS was selected to host the NSAA D-2 District wrestling tournament on 2/14 and 2/15. Wrestlers from 24 schools will be competing that day to try and punch their ticket to the State Tournament.

Here is a look at the upcoming events for the week as we kick-off the 2nd semester! Information about JV basketball games Friday evening at Kenesaw will be announced later this week once we receive confirmation from Kenesaw.

Due to slick road conditions there will not be school on Monday, January 6th.

With a free throw in the 3rd quarter of this morning's win over Doniphan-Trumbull, senior Madison Bunger became the all-time leading scorer in Wilcox-Hildreth girls basketball history! Madison now has 1,064 career points, beating the previous record of 1,061. Congrats Maddie!!



A HUGE thank you to Falcons Fueled by Beef for providing lunch today! The chili cook-off was fun and delicious. We appreciate all of the work this committee has done to bring local beef back into our schools!

Due to the impending winter storm, tomorrow’s girls only basketball game with Doniphan-Trumbull in Wilcox will now begin at 10:00 AM, and will be varsity only.

If you are going to the wrestling triangular in Axtell this evening, please remember that due to construction at the school building in Axtell, spectators are to enter through the doors on the northwest side of the building.


Update about this Saturday's girls only basketball game with Doniphan-Trumbull in Wilcox: JV will play one 10-minute quarter (running clock) of 4-on-4 beginning at 1:00. The varsity game will begin 35 minutes following the conclusion of the JV quarter.

A huge shoutout and High Five to the girls basketball team on winning their 5th consecutive holiday tournament championship tonight! It was also the 50th career victory for this senior class, making them the winningest class in school history! Congratulations girls!!

Here is a look at the upcoming activities for this week! The Holiday Tournament wraps up tomorrow evening with our girls playing at 5:00 in the North Gym, and the boys playing at 6:30 in the South Gym. Games in the South Gym will not be livestreamed, so come on out and catch some holiday basketball! On Thursday evening our boys wrestling team will be in action at Axtell in a triangular with the Wildcats and Kenesaw!

We hope that you all had a Merry Christmas and were able to enjoy your holiday with family and friends! Our Falcon athletes are back in action this weekend with the Holiday Basketball Tournament! First round games are on Saturday, with the final round on Monday!




Kindergartners, 1st graders, and 2nd graders had a great time doing some stations Friday morning!!






The Falcons had the best tournament in school history today placing 2nd with 122 team points! Big team effort all the way around! Congratulations to the medalists: Craig and Cauy 4th place, Gavin 3rd, Kyler 2nd, and champions Brody and Graiden! Graiden also past a huge milestone in the wrestling world wrestling his way past 100 career pins!
