We had an amazing day with author Bruce Arant to kick off our Read Across America week!! Students learned writing, reading, and illustration tools from this awesome author/illustrator from Omaha!

Congratulations to Kaylan Ogier for her 5th place finish in Poetry and to Kaylan, Parker Woollen, and Bella Grymes for placing 12th in Oral Interpretation of Drama at Saturday's Speech meet in Holdrege! All of the team performed very well in an extremely tough competition.

Read Across America Week starts tomorrow!! We kick off with Bruce Arant visiting the schools! He's a Nebraska Author/Illustrator doing workshops with K-5th grade! The book scavenger hunt is a fun activity to get students looking into books for details. They don't have to completely read the entire books for this!!
