The Board of Education is exploring options for improving our facilities and planning for the future of Wilcox-Hildreth Public Schools.

As of this morning there have been 108 submissions for the Facility Needs Survey. We continue to encourage people to complete the survey if they have not done so. At the BOE meeting earlier this week, the Board decided to set an end date for the survey for the week prior to the November regular meeting. The survey will close at midnight on Thursday, November 12. We thank the communities for their feedback!
We still have chrysanthemums available for purchase! We have the following mums available: seven purple, eight red, ten white, thirteen yellow, and twenty orange.

Attached is the official bracket for the D2-7 Volleyball Subdistrict with matchups and game times. A reminder that for NSAA postseason events, only NSAA issued passes are accepted; admission prices are $6 for adults, and $5 for students. 🚨In what has already been a year in which the record books have been rewritten, the Falcon volleyball team has an additional chapter to add. For the first time in school history, Wilcox-Hildreth will host volleyball subdistricts next Monday and Tuesday! Official matchups and times will be released Thursday morning. Congratulations players and coaches on this outstanding accomplishment!

Falcon Nation, here are the weekly activities for October 19-23! We will hold a State Cross Country pep rally/send-off Friday morning; once we officially have the time set we will announce it--please join us to wish Alex good luck at the State meet! Senior night recognitions for volleyball and football will take place before their games Thursday--a reminder that the start time for volleyball Thursday has been moved up to 4:30 PM and is varsity only. Also this week, volleyball subdistrict pairings will be announced on Thursday morning, and football playoff brackets will be released Saturday morning.

🎶🥁 TWO SUPERIOR PERFORMANCES! 🥁🎶
The High School Band brought home another Superior Rating (Highest Honors) at Minden Band Fest, making it FOUR CONSECUTIVE YEARS of Superior ratings! 🏆🎺
Today’s performance came with an uphill battle as we were missing two members of our Mighty Nine. After months of hard work, dedication, and practicing through rain, wind, and cold, this group stayed focused and rose to the challenge. All that hard work paid off, and they accomplished the goal they had been working toward all season!
A special shout-out goes to 7th grader Carletta Herfel, who stepped up to the big leagues and played the quad toms with the high school band when we were down a player. We are so proud of her willingness to step up, take on the challenge, and help the team succeed! 🥁👏

The 7th and 8th Grade Band led the parade at Minden Band Fest with an outstanding performance, earning a Superior (Highest Honors) Rating at their first and only parade of the year!
This talented ensemble of 27 musicians showcased straight lines, feet marching in tempo, and a powerful, full sound that could be heard all the way down the block! 🎺🎷
Four weeks of hard work, dedication, and marching through all kinds of weather paid off! We are incredibly proud of these students for their commitment, teamwork, and fantastic performance. They truly earned this recognition! 👏🎵
