A big congratulations goes out to all members of our fall sports teams: the football team, volleyball team, and both cross country teams all earned the Currency Academic Excellence award that is sponsored by the Nebraska Coaches Association! To earn this award, the average GPA of all varsity team members must be a minimum of 3.3 (3.0 for football). Plaques for these awards will be picked up in July at the Nebraska Coaches Association Multi-Sport Coaches Clinic and will be proudly displayed in our trophy cases next school year! A job well done by all of our fall athletes, and their coaches, for making strong academics cornerstones of their programs!

Here are the updated Holiday Tournament brackets. The Falcon boys will play for the championship at 6:30 in the North Gym. The Lady Falcons will play for 3rd place at 5:00 in the South Gym--there will be no live stream for this game as there is not a Hudl camera in the South Gym.

The temperatures may have dropped outside, but Falcon activities are about to heat up again! The girls and boys basketball teams will be hosting their Holiday Tournament on Monday and Tuesday (brackets are attached); support Wilcox-Hildreth Youth Sports by stopping by the concession stand at Monday's games. On Friday, the boys wrestling team will host a triangular and have Parent's Night for girls and boys wrestling, along with cheer. The basketball game at Doniphan-Trumbull Satruday morning is a GIRLS ONLY game--it was misprinted on the poster and pocket calendars at the beginning of the school year.

With first semester over, and the NSAA winter moratorium taking place December 24-28, there are no scheduled activities this week. However, here are the brackets for the 2025 Holiday Tournament that we will host December 29th-30th. Girls games at 5:00, boys at 6:30 each night.
