Welcome to our newest staff members! Sharon and Ashlynn joined the Falcon Family just as school started and they have been a phenomenal addition!

Sophomores enjoyed the Youth Science Field Day in Holdrege learning more about FCS and Agriculture.

Let's go, Falcons!

Falcon Cookbook - Recipes Due Nov. 1st

The upcoming week marks a very busy week in Falcon athletics, with our first home contests of the fall sports season, in addition to Parent's Night for our volleyball, cross-country, and football teams.
Parents of volleyball players and student managers will be recognized Thursday night following the conclusion of the SEM vs. Hi-Line game at our home triangular. Parents: please be prepared for introductions to possibly begin as early as 6:30.
Parents of football players and student managers, as well as parents of cross country runners, will be recognized prior to Friday night's football game. Football parents will be recognized first, followed then by cross country parents. Because of the high number of participants in both football and cross country, we will begin introductions shortly after 6:30 Friday night to ensure that the football players can go through their warm-up routine before starting lineups and the national anthem prior to kickoff.

#FalconFunFact we utilize technology! Over the past week, freshmen geography students learned about Geographic Information Systems. They used a smartphone app to learn about latitude and longitude and find the absolute location of coordinates throughout the school grounds.

Congratulations to the following Falcon cross country runners who placed at Friday night's Fort Kearny Twilight meet.
Cara Bunger--3rd
Grant Henery--4th
Allegra Johnson--5th (junior high)
Great job by all of our runners at a unique meet!

These students earned Falcon Cards this week for showing kindness towards students, respect towards adults, and even helping out Todd! Great job kids! We value kindness and respect at our school! #FalconFunFact Not pictured but earning a Falcon Card-Payton Cannot

Marching Band has an Awesome Leadership Team this year. #falconfunfact
Cooper Woollen, Taylor Ingram, Aubree Overholser, and Kaden Woollen have all stepped up to the challenge. They can be found mentoring younger students, coming early, staying late, and putting in hard work.

The FFA Chapter will be selling mums and poinsettias this year. If you want certain colors of mums, please use the link below by September 1st to preorder them to ensure you get them. We will be purchasing excess mums for anyone who misses the order and will also have poinsettias to purchase as well (no pre-sales this year) so they will be a first come first serve basis.
Spring plant orders will also be due soon, so if you have any suggestions on plants you would like to see in the greenhouse in May, please share these with us via facebook, email to Mrs. Faimon or fill out the suggestion form below before September 1st! We had a great selection last year, but would love to have some feedback!
