Congratulations to our football players who were awarded district honors!

We would like to invite you to join the Wilcox-Hildreth FBLA chapter this holiday season as we work to donate to some amazing causes during this giving season. This season we are going to donate to the March of Dimes organization and the Nebraska FBLA Foundation. The March of Dimes is a non-profit organization that works to improve the health of mothers and babies in need. The Nebraska FBLA Foundation is a non-profit that supports all Nebraska FBLA in their efforts and achievements and provides a number of opportunities for members all across the state. This season we encourage you to donate to one of these amazing causes or a cause you feel passionately about. Check out the fliers below for more information on what is happening this December and look for exciting updates to come! Happy Holidays!!

Student Council organized and led a district wide gratitude activity! Every student and staff member wrote what they were thankful for on a leaf to create a forest of gratitude. In the elementary, they read a book and played a game with the students. Most of our students wrote about how they were thankful for their parents, family, and friends. Coffee made the cut for a lot of staff members as well!
#FalconFunFact... we are grateful!

Last week, the juniors were able to experience hands-on science at UNK's Science Day. They participated in labs that focused on astronomy, surgery, wildlife identification, electrical circuits, and sound wave lengths!

Here is a glance at this week's activities as winter athletic contests start this week, and we host District One Act! It will be very busy at Wilcox-Hildreth between now and winter break, make sure to stay up to date with everything via our website and social media pages!

Preschoolers, kindergarteners, 1st graders, and 2nd graders had a busy afternoon rotating through some stations!!

Wilcox-Hildreth placed 2nd today at FKC! Eli Pistulka won an Overall Best Actor Award. Kade Woollen, Spencer Jezbera, Cara Bunger, Brandon Wagner, and Kamryn Russell all received Outstanding Performance Awards! I am so proud of our students and their work ethic. It's a big job to host a competition. They all helped the other teams load and unload their sets!

Juniors- just a reminder... Tomorrow we are attending the UNK Science Day. Please meet at the school at 7:20 am. You will want to wear closed toed shoes. They will have lunch at UNK and the event ends at 2:30 pm. Thanks!
Parents and Guardians,
Please make sure your student is dressed appropriately for the winter weather! We have colder weather ahead and we want our students to be prepared.
Community members: If you are donating blood today, please use the activities entrance.
A short, yet busy week of activities before Thanksgiving break at Wilcox-Hildreth!

Senior Cara Bunger was recognized for being named one of 48 statewide NSAA Believers and Achievers winners on Friday night at the D6 state championship game at UNK. Congratulations Cara on all of your outstanding accomplishments and representing Wilcox-Hildreth in a positive way!

The one act public performance is tonight at 6:00pm! We'd love to see you there!!!
This afternoon we held a small workshop where the laughs were good, the company was great, but the conversation of supporting students was the best! Thank you to this team for showing up day after day to support our growing minds! You all make a difference! #FalconFunFact

We make music. #FalconFunFact
Payton and Ryder participated in the All State Orff Ensemble in Lincoln on Wednesday! They played xylophones, drums, sang and experienced music with 120 students from across the state. The theme was "Anything is Possible".
