Subdistrict volleyball pairings were released by the NSAA this morning. Our Falcon volleyball team will take on Bertrand at 4:00 pm on Monday October 28th in Overton, with the winner of that game taking on Overton at 7:00 pm Monday. The full D2-6 bracket can be found below.

Our 5th grade LEAD group is in Kearney at the Region IV Youth Leadership Conference today. We are having fun, meeting new people, and growing as leaders!
There will be a pep rally for the football team at 2:00 in the Wilcox gym on Thursday afternoon before they leave for their playoff game at Hitchcock County. There will also be a send-off in the Wilcox gym for the state cross country runners at 12:00 on Friday before they leave for Kearney.
This year, the Falcon One Act Team will present a murder mystery/comedy. We invite you to attend as many of the performances as you can! Support from the audience is always a great motivator and gives our actors and actresses a chance to really ham it up! Here is our schedule of performances!

The sophomores had a great experience at the Connect the Dots event! They learned about ways to pay for college, options after high school, and different careers that are available in our communities. Students also learned about what jobs aligned with their strengths and what their motivated skills were. It was a great event!
Falcon Band marched their way to a SUPERIOR rating today. #FalconFunFact
The 22 members of the Junior High & High School Marching Band earned the highest honors today. A Superior rating is awarded to bands who receive marks of 80-100! Way to go Falcons and Check Out that Trophy!
The football playoff game next Thursday at Hitchcock County will kickoff at 7:00 in Trenton. Much like us, it is difficult for their gameday workers to make early evening kickoffs, especially at this time of year during harvest season. They are very appreciative of our understanding in this. We hope that the later kickoff will enable more of our crowd who may still be harvesting to be able to make the trip out west to support our boys! Information about pep rallies for both the football team, as well as our state qualifying cross country runners, will be announced at the beginning of the week.
Playoff brackets have been released, and our Falcons will head west to take on the Hitchcock County Falcons in Trenton! Game time information will be announced later once we work together with Hitchcock County to determine the official start time. Come Support the Falcon Marching Band tomorrow (Saturday, October 19th) at 1pm! Minden Band Fest is sure to be a fun parade. Sit on N Brown Ave between 1st and 5th street for a great view!
