Our Track team competed at the Lexington Invite on Friday. This meet has many schools from around the state and many Class A and B schools. Our Wilcox-Hildreth athletes were up to the challenge and brought home many medals! Cara Bunger placed 3rd in the 3200. Grant Henery placed 7th in the 3200. Thomas Donley placed 6th in the 400. Our Boys 4x400 relay team placed 6th and is now within a second of breaking the school record! Congratulations to the following students for being chosen to attend Cornhusker Boys and Girls State! The American Legion is generously sponsoring these students to attend the week long event in Lincoln where they were learn about important aspects of the government.


The High School Track team had a great day at the Arapahoe Invite on Wednesday. We placed in many events and set many personal records! State FBLA ended on Saturday and we had a very successful convention! We had 5 members who qualified for the national convention in Orlando this summer! These members had to place in the top three in their events! Georgia Ramsey qualified with her project of Future Business Educator (3rd Place), Chloe Johnson and Georgia Ramsey qualified with their project of Mobile App Development (2nd Place), Jacob Beck and Georgia Ramsey qualified with their project of Website Coding & Development (3rd Place), and finally Ayva Bendorf and Madaylnn Mulinde qualified with their project in Middle-Level Video Game Challenge (2nd Place). Other placings are as follows: Allegra Johnson got 5th place in Middle-Level Business Ethics, Avelyn Orcutt got 7th place in Middle-Level Business Etiquette, Georgia Ramsey and Chloe Johnson got 7th place in Partnership with Business Project, and Camryn Bunger got 8th place in Middle-Level Digital Citizenship. Honorable mentions included: Allegra Johnson 9th place in Middle Level Digital Citizenship (out of 48 students) and Cara Bunger 14th place in Healthcare Administration (out of 292 students) and 14th place in Human Resources Management (out of 223 students). The chapter also earned 3rd in largest chapter percent increase!
