We had 7 students compete in Land Evaluation today in Curtis, Ne!
During Land judging students ribbon soil to determine texture and permiability. They also determine the slope of the field, erosion, soil thickness, soil depth, and then use the information to determine the land capability class and amendments they would use on the land! It’s quite a fun process and allows the students to get their hands muddy as well! Great job kids!
