Second Grade had a special live “meeting” today with Harriet Tubman! We were all captivated by the story telling of this scholarly woman from the Durham Museum in Omaha which made for a truly incredible experience!
Happy National FFA Week! Here is a look at some of the activities we will be doing all week! We encourage all of our students, even if you are not in FFA, to join in on the fun! Dress up with the FFA members, find an emblem in the school for some prizes, and high school and jr high join in on the activities!
Monday- dress up in official dress, if you don’t have official dress wear an FFA T-shirt or blue and gold!
Tuesday-dress up in some chore clothes- boots, overalls, jeans, or whatever you wear doing chores
Wednesday- dress up like a farm animal
Thursday- dress up like an ag career! Veterinarian, farmer, cowboy, etc
Friday- camo day!

Our boys sub-district basketball game with Overton on Monday in Loomis has been canceled. We will play Loomis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday in Loomis
During Mrs. Soneson FIT group (Falcon Intervention Time), the kids had fun playing War to practice their multiplication facts.

Sophomores- The Connect the Dots event has been cancelled. Stay warm!
At this time, plans for the girls sub-district basketball game tomorrow will continue as planned.
Due to the extreme cold temperatures there will not be school on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
Sophomores- there has been a time change with our Connect the Dots event. It will now start at 10:30 am, so we will plan on leaving around 10:00 am.
Sophomores- Just a reminder that we will be attending the Connect the Dots Career Field in Holdrege tomorrow. We will leave at 8 am, and it will get over around 2:15. Lunch will be provided there. Thanks!
Seniors- our local scholarships that are part of the Phelps County Community Foundation are now due Feb. 17th!
